Community CCRx
NCPA has collaborated with MemberHealth, LLC and Computer Sciences Corporation to create the Community CCRx Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Plan. CCRx, one of only 10 national Medicare Part D plans, serves Medicare beneficiaries in the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
Conferences and Meetings
NCPA Meetings and Convention Department staff plan and coordinate all logistical arrangements for NCPA’s conventions, meetings, and other official events.
Legislative and Government Affairs
Political advocacy is the number one reason community pharmacists join NCPA. The professional political staff of the NCPA Government Affairs Department works to ensure that community pharmacists are well-represented in the legislative and regulatory processes.
NIPCO
Launched by NCPA in 1995, NIPCO is the national accrediting organization for pharmacist care education and training programs leading to the pharmacist care Diplomate credential and a leading authority in helping community pharmacists develop new market niches focused on patient care services.
Pharmacy Ownership and Management
If pharmacists are considering opening their own practices or expanding their existing ones, NCPA offers a variety of resources to aid them in securing the growth of their individual businesses. NCPA also monitors the practice of independent pharmacy as a whole and serves as a trusted source of information in keeping pharmacists up to date on any regulations that may affect their practices.
