Continuing Education
An accredited continuing education provider for more than 20 years, NCPA offers everything pharmacists need to keep their practices up to date and to enrich the care of their patients. Our continuing education programs are easily accessible and available in a variety of formats. NCPA's unique knowledge of the dynamics of the practice of pharmacy enables us to craft a variety of educational programs to fill any possible CE requirement.
NIPCO Educational Programs
To facilitate pharmacist expansion into disease management, NIPCO has developed a comprehensive curriculum of certificate programs in the management of specific conditions, such as diabetes, osteoporosis, respiratory disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, arthritis and pain care, obesity, infectious disease, nutrition and weight management, and others.
Accreditation for Compounding Pharmacies
As a member of the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board (PCAB), NCPA is committed to uniform accreditation standards for the compounding profession.

The Pharmacy Technician Training Program
The Pharmacy Technician Training Program is designed to help you organize the learning necessary to work competently and confidently in your role as a pharmacy technician.
Preventing Fraud, Waste and Abuse
This online program is designed to educate pharmacy owners and employees about the federal laws and guidelines related to fraud, waste, and abuse. The course has been endorsed by the National Health Care Anti-Fraud Association and recommended by several Medicare Part D plans to assure compliance with federal requirements. It is available to NCPA members for $17.95 (a 10% discount).
Pharmacy Value Alliance (PVA) Educational Programs
The Pharmacy Value Alliance is a coalition of research-based pharmaceutical companies and community pharmacy organizations brought together to produce a "dual-value" message: one which raises public awareness of the value of medication and at the same time, demonstrates the important role of the community pharmacist in maximizing the effectiveness of medication therapy.
ExCPT
The Exam for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians helps ensure that a minimum knowledge base or competency is possessed by pharmacy technicians who assist pharmacists in the preparation of prescriptions. The ExCPT is nationally recognized by the National Community Pharmacists Association and the National Association of Chain Drug Stores as a psychometrically sound pharmacy technician certification exam.
