Welcome to the monthly NCPA Exhibitor Bulletin. The purpose of this electronic newsletter is to keep in touch with our exhibitors and keep you up-to-date on information regarding NCPA's 114th Annual Convention & Trade Exposition.

2012 Exhibit Hours and Location

San Diego Convention Center, Hall A, B1:
Sunday October 14, 2012
Exhibit Hours: 1:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. (with reception)
Monday October 15, 2012
Exhibit Hours: 12 Noon until 4:00 p.m. (with lunch)
Tuesday October 16, 2012
Exhibit Hours: 11:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. (with lunch) (new hours)

You are Invited!
As exhibitors you are invited to attend all of our functions such as our opening night reception, Saturday October13th, 2012 at San Diego Convention Center, Pavilion and West Terrace, 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Opening general session on Sunday at the San Diego Convention Center, Ballroom 6AB, Level 2 from 9 am to 11:30 am. Monday General Session and Government Affairs Forum at the San Diego Convention Center, Ballroom 6AB, 9 am to 11:30 am. Closing night party at Embarcadero Park, from 7-10 pm, featuring Mike Love, Pedicab's will leave from the back of Marriott Marquis. You are welcome to attend our educational sessions, also get CE credits if you need them.

Prize drawings at your booth
Please be advised, if you are planning on having prize drawings at your booth you are responsible for following up with the winners, this is not NCPA's responsibility. NCPA doesn't make announcements over the PA system for prize winners on behalf of exhibitors.

Highlight of some NCPA's show policies: (most of these are on the back of your exhibitor application and contract)
There are some NCPA show policies that I would like to mention here:

  1. Be a Good Neighbor.

  2. All exhibit activities should be confined within the space you have contracted.

  3. Exhibitors cannot sublet any part of their assigned exhibit space. No exhibitor shall assign, sublet, share the space allotted with another business or firm.

  4. All exhibit booths need to be set-up by 11 am on Sunday October 14, 2012. After this time the booths will be forced up and the exhibitor is responsible for payment of labor. Tear down is after 2:30 pm on Tuesday October 16, 2012. Tear down prior to that time may result of not being invited to future NCPA shows.

  5. In order to protect our valued exhibitors and their investment in attending the NCPA Show, our rules strictly prohibit solicitation, "suitcasing" or "outboarding" by attendees who transact business at the show or in NCPA Show hotels and do NOT have exhibit booths. If any attendee is observed in doing such activities they will be asked to leave immediately. Show management must be informed of any hospitality suites, receptions, etc. and expressed consent must be received prior to the event. Please report any violations you may observe to Show Management.

NCPA's registration company is Convention Data Services, you will either receive or you should have received your password to enter your booth personnel. The link to access this information is:

Exhibitor badge allotment:
Corporate members for every 10x10 booth, receive 3 badges with their booth fee. Non-members receive two badges. Extra badges are available for purchase and they are $495 each, and are for the full conference.

NEW for 2012-Exhibitor Only Workshop
Monday October 15, 2012 from 10:30 am to 12 Noon, Back of the Exhibit Hall, must have exhibitor badge to enter the hall.

For the first time ever NCPA is offering a workshop for the exhibitors only. NCPA's, Sr. Director Operations and Marketing, Gabe Trehan will be the speaker for this session.

Brief Description:
Selling can be tough, but being informed about customer needs can make it much easier. Sometimes a pharmacy owner's true reason for not buying your product seems like a big secret. If you would like help turning "not interested" or "thanks for the pens" into sales and reorders then NCPA has something for you.

2013 NCPA Convention
2013 NCPA Convention will be held at Walt Disney World Swan Dolphin, Orlando, FL, October 12-16, 2013. Early bird registration forms will be passed out on Monday at the show, if you would like to take advantage of the early bird discount, please fill out the form and either drop it off at the NCPA booth 333 or fax it back to my attention, 703-683-3619.
