"I really enjoyed the convention. As independent pharmacy owners, sometimes we can stay too much in our own little "bubble". NCPA convention breaks you out of the bubble and allows you to share and gain knowledge from your fellow pharmacists."

"I have attended for many years and the annual convention really does get even better with innovative programming, new and varied topics presented with opportunities to learn new ways to grow our business."

Get Ready to Meet. Learn. Succeed.
Meet friends, learning from experts, and succeeding back home with new ideas and knowledge. These are the top reasons pharmacists tell us why they attend NCPA's Annual Convention and Trade Exposition. Join us October 23-27 this year in Philly and we're sure you'll agree.

Philadelphia—The City of Brotherly Love
Famous for cheese steaks, lawyers and liberty, America's original capital is rich with revolutionary history, culture and symbolism. Home to the Liberty Bell and the Declaration of Independence, today's Philadelphia is far from a historical relic. Urban and urbane, Philadelphia is a rich mix of traditions, races and immigrant cultures, as well as home to an exciting collection of cultural, culinary and recreational amenities that only a city of Philadelphia's heritage can provide.

Keynote Speaker—Bruce Jenner

Bruce Jenner is arguably the greatest athlete in the world. He captivated audiences when he broke the world record by scoring 8,634 points in the decathlon at the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal, earning him a Gold medal and the title of "World's Greatest Athlete." Jenner was the 1976 recipient of the James E. Sullivan award as the top amateur athlete in the United States. The Associate Press also named him "Male Athlete of the Year" later that same year. Bruce was also inducted into the Olympic Hall of Fame in 1986, the Bay Area Sports Hall of Fame, the Connecticut Sports Hall of Fame in 1994 and the United States National Track and Field Hall of Fame in 1980.

Bruce is also a highly respected and much sought-after motivational speaker, especially within the corporate sector. In his life, Bruce chooses to find his inner champion, and wrote a book "Finding the Champion Within" to reflect his ventures.

Currently, Bruce is an ambassador for Boehringer Ingelheim's "DRIVE4COPD" campaign. Bruce works to raise awareness for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, or COPD, which is a serious lung disease. As part of the event, Bruce drove across the country to screen people to see if they are at risk, and educate audiences about the disease.

As an entrepreneur, actor, author, spokesperson and television personality, Bruce remains enthusiastic in all of his endeavors. A man of all trades, Bruce's efforts have made him an inspiration to audiences around the world. He maintains his hero and role model status to this day.
