Interested in an Executive Residency in Association Management? The NCPA Executive Residency in Association Management application deadline has been extended to Friday, March 26, 2010.
As a new pharmacy school graduate, you will be prepared for an exciting career in the profession of pharmacy, but the NCPA Executive Residency in Association Management is a springboard into a career of association work that will provide you with distinction as a future leader in the health care field. As a resident, you will work on short and long-term projects developed to gain an understanding of the different departments in NCPA, including the management institute, government affairs, conventions and meetings, communications, student affairs, and the executive office.

Good Neighbor Pharmacy NCPA Pruitt-Schutte Student Business Plan Competition
The Good Neighbor Pharmacy NCPA Pruitt-Schutte Student Business Plan Competition helps young pharmacy entrepreneurs develop the blueprint necessary for buying an existing independent community pharmacy or developing a new pharmacy. Three finalist teams will compete at the 2010 NCPA Annual Convention in Philadelphia, PA and the winning team, along with their advisor and pharmacy school dean will travel to the 2011 Multiple Locations Conference in Palm Springs, CA!

NCPA Outstanding Faculty Liaison of the Year Award
The NCPA Outstanding Faculty Liaison of the Year Award recognizes a faculty liaison who demonstrates exceptional leadership and commitment to independent pharmacy, his/her NCPA Student Chapter, and the community. Candidates for the award must be an advisor of an NCPA Student Chapter. Self-nominations are acceptable. Community Pharmacy Foundation Patient Medication Safety Public Campaign
The Community Pharmacy Foundation (CPF) is sponsoring a patient medication safety public campaign contest during the month of April, 2010. All student pharmacy organizations, including NCPA student chapters, are eligible to participate in the campaign contest. A public education "Tool Kit" has been prepared by the CPF to assist chapters in easily launching this public education campaign in your community as a great public service of your organization, your college of pharmacy, and your future profession. A prize of $1,000 will be awarded to the top 4 chapter activities and the chapter with the most novel public education "tool" created for the campaign will receive $500.
