The application deadline for the Business Plan Competition is just a few days away! Please postmark your business plans before Sunday, May 15, 2011. Please also submit a PDF document of your plan to studentaffairs@ncpanet.org along with your written plan submission.
The Business Plan Competition helps young pharmacy entrepreneurs develop the blueprint necessary for buying an existing independent community pharmacy or developing a new pharmacy. You could also win a trip to the 2011 NCPA Annual Convention in Nashville, TN and the 2012 Multiple Locations Conference at the Grand Beach Resort in Naples, FL!

The Conference will be held on May 23-25, 2011 at the Hyatt Regency Washington on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. The cost to NCPA student members is discounted at $50 and the cost for NCPA non-student members is $75 which includes NCPA membership for one year.

NCPA Student Chapter End of Year Report—Deadline: May 31, 2011
NCPA Student Chapter End of Year Reports should be completed by each active NCPA student chapter. End of Year Reports are due on or by May 31, 2011. NCPA will recognize the top three student chapters and the most improved student chapter at our annual convention in October based on Chapter End of Year Report submissions.
The winner of Chapter of the Year receives a cash award of $2,000. First runner-up, second runner-up, and the most improved chapter will receive $1,000, $500, and $250 respectively. The award is based on activities during the preceding school year. Criteria include: neighborhood community service, creating members, promoting independent pharmacy, advocating legislative action, fundraising/misc., Business Plan Competition submission, MTM Challenge report submission, Legislative Advocacy Challenge report submission, and chapter bylaw submission.
