Marketing Manager/Copywriter

We're looking to hire an in-house marketing manager/copywriter to energize our marketing communication and engage our members and external audiences — someone who thrives in fast-paced environments. Requires a detail orientation to manage and meet numerous deadlines; listening skills and diplomacy to work across departmental lines; and demonstrated ability to write punchy, interesting headlines and marketing copy that grab the reader. May be asked occasionally to write longer-form articles as well. If you're a great proofreader, well, that would be icing on the cake.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing all marketing projects and deadlines to assure timeliness and effectiveness.

  • Collaborating/communicating with internal teams to develop marketing strategies, tactics and deliverables

  • Writing recruitment/fundraising letters, brochures, emails, and other types of ads

  • Overseeing social media content creation, including drafting copy

  • Drafting landing pages, banner text, and other copy for websites

  • Crafting longer-form pieces on assigned topics

  • Perform copyediting and proofreading on a range of association communications
