Director, Policy and Regulatory Affairs

Alexandria national health care association located near King Street Metro seeks an experienced regulatory and policy advocacy professional. Responsibilities include actively monitoring legislative and regulatory developments related to health care and the pharmacy industry; drafting comments, letters and general advocacy documents (one-pagers, talking points, etc.) to influence those actions; and providing cogent, actionable guidance to association members. Represent association before regulatory agencies, outside organizations and, when necessary, Congressional offices. Demonstrated success tracking Congressional and/or Medicare regulatory processes strongly preferred. Advanced degree also preferred in law or healthcare policy. Director, Government Affairs

Alexandria healthcare association (close to King Street Metro) is seeking experienced candidates for Director, Government Affairs. Position will be reporting to the Vice President, Government Affairs & Advocacy. Candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the association agenda in Congress. Ideal candidate will have Congressional staff and lobbying experience, as well as health care and/or pharmacy experience preferred. Some travel required; exposure to non-profit association a plus.
