This session will provide an update on the Advocacy Center's current federal and state legislative and regulatory activities. At the federal level, we will discuss the status of current efforts to regulate PBM's, keep diabetic testing supplies out of the CMS competitive bidding program, and other key legislative priorities. This session will also cover the status of federal healthcare reform implementation and key regulations impacting the practice of community pharmacy, including recent CMS, DEA and FDA decisions. On the state front, we will focus on topics such as trends in pharmacy Medicaid reimbursement and the formation of state healthcare exchanges.
