  Prompt Pay
HR 1474 Pharmacy Access Improvement Act
Requires PBMS to pay pharmacies promptly for properly submitted claims in the Medicare Part D program. Defines prompt payment as within 14 calendar days from submission for claims submitted electronically, and within 30 calendar days for claims submitted otherwise.

S 1954 Fair & Speedy Treatment (FAST) of Medicare Prescription Drugs Claims Act of 2007
Requires PBMs to pay pharmacies promptly for properly submitted claims in the Medicare Part D program. Defines prompt payment as within 14 calendar days from submission for claims submitted electronically, and within 30 calendar days for claims submitted otherwise.

HR 3140 The Saving Our Community Pharmacies Act of 2007
Uses median retail acquisition cost as the basis for Medicaid reimbursement limits on generic drugs.

S 1951 Fair Medicaid Drug Payment Act of 2007
Redefines the AMP benchmark so pharmacies will be reimbursed fairly in the Medicaid program.

HR 971 Community Pharmacy Fairness Act of 2007
Allows Independent pharmacies the same leverage in negotiating contracts with the PBMs that the larger chains currently have.
