Mick Begins NCPA Executive Residency Alexandria, VA - July 07, 2004 Linda Mick, Pharm.D., recently began an executive residency with the National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA).
During her one-year residency at NCPA, Mick will focus on National Institute for Pharmacist Care Outcomes (NIPCO) projects, as well as other NCPA projects and activities. Kathryn Kuhn, P.D., executive director of NIPCO, will serve as preceptor for the residency.
Mick is a 2004 graduate of the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy. Prior to coming to NCPA, Mick gained pharmacy experience through experiential rotations and as a pharmacy intern at an Odessa, Texas Albertson’s Pharmacy.
Mick is a member of NCPA, the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and the Lubbock Area Society of Health-System Pharmacists. She was also inducted into the Rho Chi Pharmacy Honor Society.
“We are pleased to have someone of Linda’s caliber serving as NCPA’s executive resident,” said NCPA Executive Vice President and CEO Bruce Roberts, R.Ph. “As a young practitioner, Linda has experienced pharmacy operations in a number of practice settings. We believe she will be a valuable asset to NCPA and to NIPCO in particular.”

NCPA’s executive residency is underwritten by a grant from the Institute for the Advancement of Community Pharmacy.
