Almost 80 million American households own a pet, with 63 percent of those surveyed reporting that they consider their pet to be a family member. The health care niche for pharmacy has grown to encompass prescriptions, compounded prescriptions, supplements, and supplies, accounting for more than $14 billion in non-insurance/cash sales. This peer-led program will share successes on putting profit in the pet niche and extending your valuable role as a health advisor to this newest category of family member.
