NIPCO Educational Programs
The National Institute for Pharmacist Care Outcomes (NIPCO) is a leader in educating community pharmacists how to develop new market niches in disease management.
To facilitate pharmacist expansion into disease management, the Institute has developed a comprehensive curriculum of certificate programs in the management of specific conditions, such as diabetes, osteoporosis, respiratory disease, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, arthritis and pain care, obesity, infectious disease, nutrition and weight management, and others.
The following educational programs contain complete clinical information in addition to extensive implementation advice and marketing and billing strategies.
Community Aging, Assisted Living, and Long Term Care Certificate Program
This course focuses on how to implement or expand community aging, assisted living and long-term care (CAALLTC) services in a community pharmacy.
Osteoporosis Care Certificate Program
Osteoporosis-related fractures result in significant morbidity, mortality, and medical expense and cause pain, deformity, and disability.
Therapeutic Foot Care Certificate Program (Pharmacists & Staff Only)
This certificate program will provide the participant with extensive education and training to fit therapeutic shoes.
Therapeutic Shoe Fitter Course (HME Dealers & Staff Pharmacists Partnering with Aetrex, Acor, and P.W. Minor)
This certificate program will provide the participant with extensive education and training to fit therapeutic shoes.
