Boopathy Sivaraman is a 2014 PharmD candidate from Auburn University (Harrison School of Pharmacy). Boopathy received his Bachelors degree from California State University, Fresno and a Master's in Biology from The University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. Currently, he is the SGA President and NCPA student chapter president at HSOP. He is a proud active member of Phi Lambda Sigma, Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity and Alabama Pharmacy Association. Through his interactions with independent Alabama pharmacy owners and NCPA, he intends to be integrated in developing the practice of pharmacy for the next generation.

As a proud junior member of SLC, Boopathy intends to use social media as a vector of legislative reform in pharmacy. His goal as an SLC member is to promote the empirical evidence of health care practices in the field of pharmacy and bring them to the light of every patient, pharmacist, and student.
