Jenna W. Brown discovered her love of independent pharmacy while working as a compounding technician at Oakdell Pharmacy in San Antonio, Texas. She is now a 2013 Pharm.D. candidate at the University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy, which is also located in San Antonio, Texas. Jenna held office as President of her school's Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International (CPFI) chapter for two years. During her second year in this position, she had the responsibility of hosting the 6th Annual National CPFI Student Retreat. Currently, Jenna is President of her school's NCPA chapter and team captain of their business plan team. She also serves as Secretary for the Dean's Student Council and works as a pharmacist intern at Berry Oaks Pharmacy, a newly opened independent pharmacy, located in Spring Branch, Texas. NCPA has helped Jenna to realize her role in promoting the importance of political involvement in order to both preserve and advance her profession. She strives to provide optimal care to patients through thoughtfully developed relationships and personalized medication solutions.
