Nicole Dimaano Nicole Dimaano is a 2015 PharmD candidate from University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences on the Anschutz Medical Campus. Nicole has developed a strong interest in entrepreneurship and business ownership after growing up around her parent's own small business. Nicole was inspired to fuse these interests with her passion for shaping her community as an independent community pharmacist.

In her first year of pharmacy school, Nicole served as the NCPA P1 Class representative and is currently serving as the Vice President of her NCPA student Chapter for the second year. She learned more about the management process after competing in the local business team competition alongside her P1 NCPA student leaders. She is a member of the Good Neighbor Pharmacy NCPA Pruitt-Schutte Student Business Plan Team from the UC Denver chapter and holds other leadership. In addition, Nicole also holds positions as Colorado Pharmacists Society Student Academy President, Institutes for Healthcare Improvement pharmacy representative, and is a Phi Lambda Sigma nominee.

Nicole recognizes the value of NCPA and the resources it provides to students interested in independent pharmacy and business ownership. She intends to continually innovate and advance the pharmacy profession by focusing on increased access to pharmacy services, quality improvement and expanding the scope health and wellness through community pharmacy practice. She is passionate about building relationships with independent community pharmacists and students across the nation and hope to bring more student leaders into NCPA so that we can sustain our profession and the unique niche independent pharmacies serve in their communities.
