Ezequiel (Zeke) Medina is entering his 3rd year at the University of Houston College of Pharmacy. Previously, Zeke served in the military five years before entering pharmacy school. He has been actively involved in many organizations at his pharmacy school. During is his first couple of years; he has served as the vice president of the 2013 class, pledge master of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, and as dean's representative for his class.

Zeke grew up working in his father's business helping young children learn the art of self-discipline and motivation through martial arts. This sparked an interest for Zeke to serve his community throughout high school and college through organizations like habitat for humanity and big brothers mentorship. When it came towards picking a field in pharmacy, there was only one route that interest Zeke, community pharmacy. As president of his NCPA chapter, he felt that it was important to adopt an agenda solely based on improving the chapter. Throughout his term; Zeke was able to start an annual pharmacy meet and greet, create 8 new leadership positions, establish a constitution, increase membership by doubling it the year before, and establish an agenda for his executive committee so they could hit the ground running for the upcoming year! His current interests in community pharmacy are compounding, diabetes care, MTM, and weight loss management.
