Competitive Edge:

NCPA has developed several competitions and challenges that will enhance your professional growth and provide you with that competitive edge once you graduate. With the Good Neighbor Pharmacy NCPA Pruitt-Schutte Student Business Plan Competition, you can earn up to $6000 for your student chapter and school as well as complimentary travel and registration to the NCPA Annual Convention; Community Health Challenge ($250), Legislative Advocacy Challenge ($1000), Simplify My Meds Challenge ($250), Video Contest ($250), student specific webinars, partnerships with PCCA and Live Oak Bank which provide additional educational boot camps and workshops.

Professional Development:

APPE Rotations, Chapter Officers, Executive Residency ( 1 year), Summer Internship(stipend), Student Leadership Council (2 year appointment); complimentary membership to the American College of Apothecaries (ACA) and the American College of Veterinary Pharmacists (ACVP).

Awards and Recognition:

Chapter of the Year Award, Most Improved Chapter of the Year, Outstanding NCPA Student Member of the Year, Graduation Honor Cords, PLUS over $112,000 given away in 2016. Scholarships are only available to national NCPA student members. And you are eligible to apply for scholarships with ACA and ACVP.
