Hard work pays off and NCPA's Student Chapter of the Year competition is the place to display all the effort that goes into building a top-notch student organization.

Chapter of the Year—University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Pharmacy
1st Runner Up—University of Southern California School of Pharmacy
2nd Runner Up—Ohio Northern University College of Pharmacy
Most Improved Chapter—Wilkes University Nesbitt School of Pharmacy


NCPA recognizes the top three chapters and the most improved chapter each year at our annual convention during the NCPA Foundation Student Awards Ceremony. The winner of Chapter of the Year receives a cash award of $2,000. First and second runners-up receive $1,000 and $500 respectively. The Most Improved Chapter receives $250.

The award is based on activities during the preceding school year. Criteria include: The number of community service projects, the number of guest speakers at NCPA meetings, fundraising, attendance at national NCPA meetings, and most importantly, promoting pharmacy ownership.

To apply for this prestigious award, fill out the Chapter of the Year Application Form (PDF format). To be eligible, the student chapter must have also submitted a Midterm Report for the Fall Semester. Accompanying the Chapter of the Year Application must be an Incoming Officers Report. To enhance your application throughout the year, a Chapter Meeting Report for each chapter meeting may be submitted as well.
