Alexandria, Va. - September 22, 2011

The National Community Pharmacists Association (NCPA) has announced its current exhibit hall activities during the 113th Annual Convention and Trade Exposition at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, October 8-12.

The NCPA Trade Exposition is the most powerful and productive trade show in the independent pharmacy industry. Hundreds of companies, representing products and services from OTC to automation, offer attendees the best opportunity to secure the latest in products and services from a greater variety of vendors than any at other trade show in the pharmacy industry. A current list of those exhibitors can be found here.

Select exhibitors will host Exhibitor Theatre sessions on Monday, October 10 and Tuesday, October 11 in the rear of the Convention Center's Exhibit Hall C1 and C2. These 30-minute non-CE sessions will offer attendees a unique opportunity to learn about the latest products and services from these companies. View the Theatre sessions and times here.

This year NCPA Convention pharmacy owner and manager and staff pharmacist attendees will also have the chance to participate in two Exhibit Hall drawings. On Monday and Tuesday, those attendees must visit each booth listed on their passport in order to participate in the drawing. After visiting with each company and getting their passport stamped by the exhibitor, they will bring the cards to the NCPA Membership Booth to be entered in two special drawings of $1,000 each awarded by NCPA.

The NCPA Annual Convention and Trade Exposition will feature nearly 20 hours of continuing education credits on topics including 340B, medication therapy management (MTM), adherence, technology and pharmacy-sustaining niches such as long-term care, immunizations, and compounding, and more.
