Foundation grants help pharmacies rebuild after disaster

The AmerisourceBergen Foundation and the NCPA Foundation have created the AmerisourceBergen Foundation–NCPA Foundation Disaster Relief Grant Fund. This fund, made possible by a donation from the AmerisourceBergen Foundation, will be administered entirely by the NCPA Foundation, including decisions on eligibility and grant selections. The fund was established to provide financial assistance to community pharmacy owners for the repair of pharmacies in the event of a disaster, accident, illness, or other adverse circumstances. Help is available to NCPA member and nonmember independent pharmacies, awarding up to $2,500 per site for the AmerisourceBergen Foundation Fund and an additional $2,000 per site through the NCPA Foundation Disaster Relief Fund.
