A united front to fix DIR

by NCPA | Jun 10, 2019

On Monday, NCPA joined diverse organizations representing every type of pharmacy and pharmacist in sending a letter to President Donald Trump to call for his administration to act on pharmacy DIR fee reform. The groups, which includes the National Association of Chain Drug Stores, National Association of Specialty Pharmacy, American Pharmacists Association, Food Marketing Institute, and National Grocers Association, urged, "We request your immediate help to address DIR reform this year in order to eliminate practices that drive up patient and government spending on drugs."

Additionally, Reps. Peter Welch (D-Vt.), Vicente Gonzalez (D-Texas), Buddy Carter (R-Ga.) and Morgan Griffith (R-Va.), are circulating a letter in the House of Representatives to President Trump expressing disappointment that the administration failed to act on pharmacy DIR fees. You can help. URGENT: Click here to email your representative TODAY asking them to add their name to this letter to demonstrate broad bipartisan disappointment at the administration’s lack of action.
