Register for Convention and help find a cure

by NCPA | Aug 12, 2019

In August 2018, Dylan Harrell, the daughter of NCPA board member and pharmacy owners Jeff and Casey Harrell from Washington, received the shocking diagnosis of Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma. DIPG is a rare and extremely aggressive brain tumor found at the base of the brain that almost exclusively strikes children.

Dylan, now 5, continues to bravely battle this disease while Jeff and Casey aggressively seek all treatment possibilities. This battle has hit close to home for NCPA. We would like to support the Harrell family and other families affected by this disease by donating $100 of every owner/manager and staff pharmacist registration to the NCPA Annual Convention we receive in August to research finding a cure for DIPG. Cardinal Health and Live Oak Bank have also generously agreed to each match NCPA’s contribution.

All you need to do is register for the Convention, Oct. 26-29 in San Diego, by Aug. 31 and $100 of your registration will go to support DIPG research.

NCPA, the Harrell family, and all those touched by DIPG thank you for your registrations.
