Wolsoncroft and husband Tom opened their first pharmacy, KidsMeds, in 2002. Wolsoncroft has always pursued nontraditional tracks and focused on educating physicians and the community about pharmacy practice and the unique role the profession plays in community wellness. The newest adventure is Remedies Pharmacy, which opened in 2018.

Jeff Harrell

Kristen Riddle

Riddle is vice president of development for US Compounding Pharmacy, a PCAB-accredited specialty pharmacy. She is also partner/owner in a community pharmacy, American Home Pharmacy. Kristen is also immediate past president of the Arkansas Pharmacist Association. Among her other industry activities is serving as a delegate to the United States Pharmacopeia.

Jonathan Marquess

Marquess is vice president of the Academy of Independent Pharmacy for the Georgia Pharmacy Association. In this role he promotes economic viability and security for independent pharmacies. Additionally, Jonathan and his pharmacist wife Pam are the owners of community and long-term care pharmacies in Georgia. Before assuming his current position, Jonathan was vice president of clinical and professional affairs for APCI and a clinical professor of pharmacy practice at the Mercer University School of Pharmacy in Atlanta. Recently Jonathan was named Independent Pharmacist of the Year by GPhA.

Steve Moore

Moore is co-owner of Condo Pharmacy in Plattsburgh, N.Y. (his mother Jean and brother Dave are also owners). Condo Pharmacy provides traditional, long-term care, compounding, and specialty pharmacy services. Condo’s pharmacists also work with other health care providers and insurers to provide a variety of clinical care services. Steve is a past president of the Pharmacists Society of the State of New York. He is a CPESN® USA luminary and board member, an EPIC board member, and a Plattsburgh North-Country Chamber of Commerce board member.

Tadrus is owner of independent community and long-term care pharmacies in rural Missouri. His pharmacies strive to improve patient health outcomes through the use of clinical medication synchronization, adherence packaging, immunizations, point-of-care testing, comprehensive and targeted medication reviews, consulting and coordination of care. He is credentialed to provide immunizations, medication therapy management and to engage in advanced practice protocols. Christian currently serves as vice-president of the Missouri State Board of Pharmacy, National Council for Prescription Drug Programs Board of Trustees, and the CPESN® USA Board of Managers.

Hugh M. Chancy

B. Douglas Hoey

B. Douglas Hoey is the Chief Executive Officer of the National Community Pharmacists Association. The National Community Pharmacists Association represents the owners of nearly 19,400 pharmacy small businesses. These pharmacies are important to local economies providing jobs for 215,000 people in their communities and consumers consistently rank them as the top rated pharmacies in the country.

Hoey is a licensed pharmacist in Oklahoma, Virginia, and Texas and practiced in a variety of community pharmacy settings including his own family’s pharmacy before coming to NCPA. Hoey was NCPA’s first chief operating officer and in 2011 was named CEO. He is widely quoted by media as an industry expert on community pharmacy practice issues including drug supply and prescription drug pricing. Hoey also developed and taught pharmacology courses at George Washington University and Marymount universities. He is president of the World Pharmacy Council, co-chairman of the Surescripts Board of Directors, chairman of the NCPA Innovation Center, and vice-chair for the CPESN® USA Board of Managers. Hoey served on the Pharmacy Quality Alliance board for six years and was chairman of the Mirixa board for eight years. His pharmacy degree is from the University of Oklahoma College of Pharmacy and his MBA is from the Oklahoma City University graduate school of business.

Ben McNabb

McNabb is owner (with wife Heather) of Love Oak Pharmacy in Eastland, Texas. Ben currently serves as president of CPESN® Texas and as an appointed member to the Texas HHSC Value-Based Payment and Quality Improvement Advisory Committee. Ben enjoys using both roles to communicate the untapped potential of community pharmacy and advance innovative payment models that improve patient outcomes and lower health care costs. Additionally, Ben is a director of the Texas Pharmacy Association Independent Pharmacy Academy. Ben earned his pharmacy degree from the University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy, where he serves as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Council.

Ashley Moose

Ashley Moose is the pharmacy manager and co-owner of Moose Pharmacy of Monroe, N.C., and co-owner of Moose Pharmacy of Mount Holly, N.C. She is involved in the implementation and enhancement of clinical activities, including immunizations, disease state management, adherence, and medication therapy management services. Ashley also serves as the director of network development for CPESN® USA. She works directly with community pharmacists to develop and launch clinically integrated networks of high-performing community-based pharmacies. Ashley received a bachelor of science degree in biology from the University of Kentucky in 2004 and a doctor of pharmacy degree from Campbell University in 2008. Ashley has served as chair of the North Carolina Community Care Practice Forum and is past president of the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists. Ashley has been recognized as the North Carolina Association of Pharmacists Community Pharmacist of the Year in 2013 and National Community Pharmacists Association Outstanding Adherence Educator in 2012.

Ashley Seyfarth

Seyfarth is owner of Kare Drug, which has locations in Aztec and Bloomfield, N.M. Ashley graduated from the University of New Mexico College of Pharmacy in 2014. She started working at Kare Drug during her third year of pharmacy school and was hired after graduation. She bought into the pharmacy as a partner in 2017 and took full ownership in 2019. Ashley is chair of the New Mexico Pharmacy Business Council, second vice president for the New Mexico Pharmacist Association, and pharmacology professor for the dental hygiene program at the local community college. Most recently, Ashley was appointed by the New Mexico governor to sit on the Prescription Drug Taskforce to help assess ways to lower prescriptions costs to New Mexico residents.

Khanh-Long (Ken) Thai

Thai is co-founder and CEO of 986 Degrees Corp., and owner/operator of multiple 986 Pharmacy locations throughout Southern California and Nevada. Ken also serves as an adjunct assistant professor of pharmacy practice at the University of Southern California and Western University’s School of Pharmacy, precepting and mentoring students interested in becoming pharmacy entrepreneurs. Ken received a degree in biology from the University of California at Los Angeles in 1998. He graduated from the USC School of Pharmacy in 2002. Ken is a past president of the California Pharmacists Association. He is active with the USC School of Pharmacy Alumni Network.

Hashim Zaibak

Zaibak started his career as a pharmacist in 1999 after graduating from the University of Illinois-Chicago. With more than two decades of experience, he has seen the industry from multiple vantage points. Zaibak is the founder of Hayat Pharmacy and runs 20 pharmacies in Wisconsin. Zaibak is well known as a medical counselor. He dedicates time to giving health education presentations and teaching patients proper medication administration. As recognition of Zaibak’s excellent service to the community, he was named the 2014 Pharmacist of the Year by Pharmacy Development Services. Additionally, Hayat Pharmacy was named Health Mart’s 2014 and 2021 Pharmacy of the Year.
